| After four and a half years of hard work and dedication the developers of Port Vandemere have obtained their major marina permit and construction of the marina has started on Vandemere Creek. Port Vandemere has a total of 47 home sites and will have a total of 47 boat slips. All of the boat slips will be deeded. Offering 1/2 acre lots with a 40' boat slip for only $69,900 for a limited time only. Construction has begun with the first of four sets of docks starting with Dock "A" then moving along to Dock "B" and so on. Port Vandemere Yacht Club will be a floating dock system and will have 40' - 45' - 50' and 60' boat slips. Vandemere Creek is one of the deepest and most protected creeks in the area which offers some of the best boating activities in eastern North Carolina.
